At Blue Mountain Small Engine Repair, we believe in doing what’s right and that is what we always strive to do.  We would like you to feel good about leaving our shop and we want to stand behind OUR workmanship with a fair and firm 90-day guarantee. 

However we can’t warranty your whole 25 year old mower or rototiller that parts are obsolete for.  So when we say OUR work.  We don’t want you to think we mean the whole machine.  We mean just what WE worked on.  Specifically.  

So our technicians will make recommendations to you.  If you follow them, our warranty stands.  If you choose not to, we understand that also, but it will VOID your warranty.

Our Guarantee is simple.  If we fixed something, and it doesn’t work, through no fault of your own; we will pick it up on our very next available Pick Up date and get it fixed as soon as possible so you can get back to using it.  

Free pickup and drop-offs

At Blue Mountain Small Engine Repair, we know that sometimes transportation of an old broken down lawn mower or piece of small equipment can be a real pain.  Maybe you don’t have a truck,  maybe you have three kids to drop off at practice, maybe you’re just busy, or maybe you just don’t feel like messing with it. That’s why we offer FREE Pickups on Mondays and FREE drop-offs on Fridays every week within 5 miles of Pendleton City Limits.   It doesn’t mean that we will always get your mower repaired within that week.  But that is definitely our goal and the best part is, it doesn’t cost a dime extra!

If you live between 5-15 miles outside of Pendleton City Limits, there will be a $30 trip charge.  This Trip charge covers pickup and drop off.  If you live more than 15 miles but less than 30 miles outside of Pendleton City Limits there is a $60 trip charge.  This trip charge also covers pickup and drop off.

DEPOSITS, PREAUTHORIZATION, AND STORAGE

DEPOSITS & PREATHORIZATION

There is a minimum shop labor charge of one hour on all tickets.  

In addition, we require preauthorization on all tickets.  This preauthorization is different for each type of machine.  To make it as simple as possible we have broken this down into three categories for Outdoor Power Equipment.  

Outdoor Power Equipment with a 2-cycle engine will require a preauthorization, as well as 4-cycle engines (exclluding riding lawn mowers or lawn tractors) will be $125.

We will contact you before exceeding this amount.

Riding Lawn Tractors or Riding Lawn Mowers will require a preauthorization of $300.

We will contact you in this case before exceeding this amount as well.  

Storage

We believing in being up front and honest.  We believe integrity is in what we do. 

Due to the fact that we do not have a lot of extra space.  Customer communication is very important.  If we have called you to get your approval on parts or labor exceeding your preauthorized amount, we NEED to hear back from you promptly.

Three days of no response from you, will result in a $20/day storage charge that will be applied to your invoice.

After your ticket is completed.  We will call you to let you know that your ticket is complete.  Once we have tried to contact you and let you know your ticket is complete.  We NEED to hear from you.   After the following Friday, we will apply a $20/day storage fee to your invoice as well.  

UNPAID TICKETS AND ABANDONED EQUIPMENT

Upon payment of your deposit, we will impose an express Mechanics lien on your equipment.  If your repair bill goes unpaid for 30 days we will consider your equipment abandoned and we will sell your equipment to cover the cost of your repair bill, and we will keep the remainder.

NO REFUNDS, EXCHANGES, OR CANCELLATIONS

In order to keep our costs at a minimum and keep our rates as low as possible for our customers, Blue Mountain Small Engine Repair does not allow refunds, exchanges or cancellations.  All sales are final.

We have access to some of the nations leading parts suppliers.  Give us a call and see if we can help you.  We will do our very best.  Prices are competitive, and you will find our service to be outstanding.

Service

PAYMENT TERMS

We require a deposit of $75 to start any work on any equipment.
We take all major credit cards, debit, and cash.
